Alpine Solicitors have a team of solicitors who have intensive experience in areas including conveyancing and immigration work. We work on hourly rate, fixed fee and CFA/Conditional Fee Agreement basis. In case of conveyancing and immigration matters we work on fixed fee basis.

Each transaction has its own individual circumstances. A typical sale/purchase varies depending on the buyer's and seller's circumstances, plus conveyancing problems which can increase our work and costs and may delay the completion. Please note that the fees quoted below are for a straight forward sale/purchase transaction with no excessive and unexpected complications.

 

The costs of buying, selling, or re-mortgaging your home can be broken down between:

  • Solicitors’ legal fees
  • VAT (currently at 20%)
  • Disbursements (necessary expenses paid to third parties – e.g. Stamp Duty Land Tax paid to HMRC on certain land dealings and Land Registry Fees – see details below:

 

But you can call us free to discuss your matter at full length, thereafter we can provide you with a detailed fee estimate.
The time scale regarding completion of a residential transactions roughly between 6 weeks to 8 weeks but in case of unseen complications it may take longer.

  • Receive and advise on contract and mortgage documents
  • Carry out searches
  • Obtain further planning documentation if required

  • Check amount outstanding on any mortgage(s)
  • Submit draft contract papers to Buyer’s solicitors

  • Send final contract to you for signature
  • Agree completion date
